The Kansas Department of Transportation has spent the past two years developing and refining an overall corridor improvement plan for US-54 from Pratt to Kingman. By the end of 2011, the existing two-lane highway from Pratt to Kingman will have nine miles of new four-lane, divided highway and will be ready for additional improvements as funding becomes available.
